In the surroundings of the mountains in Serra da Estrela, you can explore many beautiful colonial towns, get amazing views from the mountain tops, and go for a swim in one of the many lakes in the national park.
Along the Douro river, you can find several towns and wineries famous for producing the iconic Port Wine. You can marvel at the magnificent landscapes, taste the wines on a wine tour, and take a river cruise.
Being one of the lesser-known beaches, its sandy shores lay untouched and perfect for unwinding in or going for seaside walks. There are also several restaurants with seaside views serving freshly caught seafood.
Located on the north coastline of Wales, you can find this medieval fortress looking over the small town. Being at the end of Snowdonia National Park, you can also visit Aber Falls which is a short drive away.
Known for its lively nightlife, this beach town is filled with bars, clubs, and restaurants that open well into the night. During the day you can relax at the beach or go on one of the many tours offered in the area.
